We're now seeking an experienced Transportation Analyst to join our Industrial Engineering team, where you'll play a critical role in optimizing our transportation logistics and contributing to the success of our organization. About the Role As a Transportation Analyst, you'll be an integral part of our fast-paced Transportation team, working closely with managers and stakeholders to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to drive business efficiency. Your expertise will help us navigate the complexities of transportation logistics, ensuring that our fleet operates smoothly and effectively. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with managers to define and prioritize business needs, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making. Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources and database platforms to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Develop, maintain, and enhance multiple Excel spreadsheets to support transportation operations and analysis. Support the Hobby Lobby Transportation Fleet by providing analytical expertise and recommendations for improvement. Communicate complex data insights effectively to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. Requirements & Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in transportation logistics, data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications. We're looking for individuals with a passion for problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Essential Qualifications: Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and spreadsheet development. Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Test. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of data analysis principles and practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Access, with experience in database management and development. Typing and 10-key competencies, with high accuracy and speed. Experience in transportation logistics, with knowledge of industry trends and best practices. Skills & Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need a combination of technical, business, and soft skills. We're looking for individuals with: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
