Consultant/IT Transition Project Manager - ERP
Job Description: The Project Manager within the Transition Program Management Office will oversee and lead the successful implementation of an enterprise ERP. This includes facilitating a cross-functional team of stakeholders from the client IT team, third-party ERP implementation partner, incumbent vendor contacts, and incoming vendor team(s). The Project Manager provides leadership and guidance through all phases of the implementation. This includes working closely with client and vendor teams to understand and define project requirements, communicate progress and upcoming milestones, identify potential risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate them. Role Responsibilities: • Understand and own Project Management activities for the Technology Transition • Ensure that milestones are met on time • Create and maintain project documentation • Collaborate with members of the Transition PMO to identify project interdependencies • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule / work plan in alignment with the Program plan • Facilitate regular project status calls • Provide status reporting regarding project performance, progress, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues • Manage relationships across all stakeholder groups • Support client, vendor, and RZ Strategies transition teams through problem definition, issue identification, and work plan development using problem solving principles and experience • Formulating and driving end-to-end transition activities, formulating the specific solutions to address prioritized requirements (through for example Workshops, Agile prototyping) • Support Change Management activities to prepare the client for deployment and adoption (Change Program, Operating Model & Organizational alignment, Communications, Trainings) • Supporting the collection and analysis of large amounts of data, developing key insights / findings, and proposing solutions to complex strategic sourcing issues Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree • Three - four years of experience in Big Four or similar consulting firms • Five+ years Project Management or similar work leading large, complex projects with multiple dependencies • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches • Minimum three years of relevant experience in transition of technology infrastructure or software implementation • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while focused on delivering results • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaboration across diverse teams • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments • Strong attention to detail, time management, and consistency in follow-up • Proficient with MS Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: • PMP (or similar) certification • Agile certification • Experience working with global teams Job Type: Contract Pay: $100.00 - $110.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Application Question(s): • Describe your experience in managing technology transitions Experience: • Project management: 5 years (Preferred) • Consulting: 3 years (Preferred) • managing the transition of technology infrastructure: 3 years (Preferred) License/Certification: • PMP (Preferred) Willingness to travel: • 50% (Preferred) Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
