Compliance Pharmacist, Accreditation and Clinical Programs - Remote
About the position Responsibilities • Create and implement training programs related to compliance initiatives for specialty pharmacy clinical programs. • Work in partnership with Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy leadership to prepare for and navigate specialty pharmacy accreditation surveys. • Support the development of compliance strategy for specialty pharmacy and provide ongoing monitoring to minimize risk. • Assist in monitoring changes to regulations and accreditation standards impacting pharmacy practice. • Develop and manage pharmacy quality metrics for performance improvement. • Support review and development of specialty pharmacy patient management program workflows. • Partner with pharmacy leadership and 340B team to stay updated on regulatory changes. • Assist with onsite specialty pharmacy visits, patient management audits, and investigations. • Collaborate with stakeholders to draft, maintain, and implement collaborative care agreements. • Provide oversight to internal credentialing processes. • Collaborate with Specialty leadership and IT support to maintain medication disease-state group. • Evaluate new pipeline therapies for specialty pharmacy and integrate into review processes. • Monitor and analyze reporting to validate compliance. • Assist in data collection and process review for collaboration with legal counsel and pharmacy leadership. • Provide leadership on various committees related to pharmacy compliance and accreditation. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. • Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license required. • Successful completion of an accredited PGY1 and/or PGY2 pharmacy residency. • 2 years specialty pharmacy or pharmacy compliance experience. • Experience in specialty pharmacy accreditation or related field work preferred. • Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations preferred. • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other pharmacy-related applications preferred.
