Role Overview We're offering two exciting opportunities for professionals looking to make a difference in the medical field. As a Clinical Operations Assistant and Transcription Expert, you'll be responsible for: Coordinating referral appointments to ensure timely patient care delivery Establishing effective relationships with insurance companies and healthcare providers to exchange vital patient information Processing and managing authorizations (paper and electronic) with efficiency Accurately maintaining and updating patient records Providing administrative support to facilitate smooth clinic operations Efficiently transcribing medical reports into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Identifying and correcting transcription errors to ensure data accuracy Updating patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) with precision Reliably sending prescriptions as directed by physicians Key Responsibilities Administrative and Clinical Support As a Clinical Operations Assistant, you'll be responsible for: Referral Coordination: Coordinate referral appointments to ensure timely patient care delivery Insurance and Provider Relations: Establish effective relationships with insurance companies and healthcare providers to exchange vital patient information Authorization Management: Process and manage authorizations (paper and electronic) with efficiency Patient Record Management: Accurately maintain and update patient records Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to facilitate smooth clinic operations Medical Documentation and Scribing As a Transcription Expert, you'll be responsible for: Medical Transcription: Efficiently transcribe medical reports into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Error Correction: Identify and correct transcription errors to ensure data accuracy Patient Information Management: Update patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) with precision Prescription Management: Reliably send prescriptions as directed by physicians Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Experience: Previous experience in medical assisting, medical scribing, or a related field Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills Typing and Documentation Skills: Strong typing and documentation skills Technical Skills: Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates with: Medical Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Certification: Certification in medical assisting or medical scribing (e.g., CMA, RMA, or CMT) Software Proficiency: Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office What We Offer At ZAND MEDICAL PARTNERS, we're committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
