Bookkeeper (Remote – Sustainable Consumer Goods Startup)
A fast-growing, sustainability-focused consumer goods company is seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper to oversee daily financial operations, including QuickBooks management, AR/AP, and cost accounting. You’ll work closely with a fractional CFO and leadership team to streamline financial processes, prepare reports, and ensure compliance as the company scales. What You’ll Do • Manage daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks and Bill.com, including AR/AP and expense processing. • Maintain inventory and cost accounting in the company’s ERP system. • Support month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ops, Supply Chain, Leadership) to improve financial processes. • Assist with audits, tax filings, and other special projects. What We’re Looking For • 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally in a product-based or manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.). • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to operate independently in a remote setup. • Bonus: experience mentoring junior staff or supporting inventory/cost accounting.
