Animator/Motion Designer Needed for Video Loop Animations
About the role We’re hiring a motion designer to create seamless, story-aware video loop animations for our content studio—think social backgrounds, interstitials, lower-third stingers, event screens, and stream overlays. Your work should elevate our brand, not just decorate it. What you’ll do - Concept → styleframes → animation: pitch visual ideas and deliver tight loops that feel intentional, not repetitive. - Produce platform-ready variants (1:1, 9:16, 16:9) with attention to first-second impact and endless playback. - Build logo stings, animated type, graphic systems, and light UI/infographics. - Prep clean project files, modular comps, and reusable templates. - Collaborate with content leads to align tone, messaging, and use-cases (events, social, livestream). -Iterate using feedback and simple A/B tests (retention, reactions, saves). Deliverables & specs - Loop lengths: 5–15s (social) and 10–30s (event/stream), seamless. -Exports: MP4 (H.264/H.265), MOV (ProRes 4444 w/ alpha when needed), GIF/WebM; caption-safe text. -Source files: AE project + assets; naming/version control; basic handoff notes. -Accessibility: readable type, motion sensitivity options (reduced-motion alternates). What you bring - Strong reel of loopable motion (type, shapes, logo/brand, light character or 2.5D welcome). - Expertise in After Effects (expressions a plus); Illustrator/Photoshop; Figma for handoff. - Nice-to-haves: Cinema 4D or Blender, Lottie/Bodymovin, audio sweetening for stings, color sense. - File hygiene, speed, and a collaborative, feedback-friendly mindset.
