This role offers the opportunity to be a key contributor to enterprise-wide platform engineering, driving innovation and ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions. You will work collaboratively across multiple teams—including Product, Development, QA, Operations, and Project Management—supporting diverse technologies and critical systems. The position requires hands-on expertise in scripting, database management, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines, while providing proactive support and problem resolution. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, security, and performance of enterprise platforms used across the organization, giving you visibility and influence at multiple levels. Accountabilities • Develop and maintain automation scripts in Perl, Python, or JavaScript to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks. • Build, support, and optimize database applications using MySQL and MS SQL Server. • Administer Linux-based systems, Java services, and Apache web servers, ensuring stability and performance. • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and associated services. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, JFrog, Maven, and other tools. • Implement security best practices in software development and operations. • Use monitoring and network troubleshooting tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues. • Provide hands-on technical support, incident response, and root cause analysis during US Eastern Time hours. • Collaborate with multiple business units to support the implementation and migration of enterprise-wide SDLC tools. Requirements • Extensive proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or JavaScript. • Experience developing and maintaining database applications using MySQL and MS SQL Server. • Experience deploying, customizing, and supporting open-source software solutions. • Knowledge of Linux, Java, Apache, and cloud environments. • Experience with CI/CD and repository management tools such as GitHub, JFrog, and Maven. • Competence in security software development technologies and processes. • Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and monitoring solutions. • Self-motivated, proactive, and inquisitive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. • Contribution to open-source projects or active GitHub presence preferred.
