Account Executive (SMB Sales)

Torch Dental is a rapidly growing start-up whose mission is to improve the lives of healthcare providers by simplifying supply ordering. As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, working closely with small and midsize dental practices to deliver measurable value. Responsibilities Own the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to collecting the first subscription payment Prospect daily, conduct high-quality discovery, and tailor Torch's solution to dental practice needs Consistently meet and exceed activity and revenue targets (60–90 outbound calls per day depending on ramp status) Leverage proven sales playbooks while collaborating with teammates and leadership to iterate on sales strategy Become a trusted expert on Torch’s platform and the dental industry Track and manage pipeline in CRM (Salesforce) with attention to detail and urgency Skills Proven success with outbound prospecting and closing net-new business Comfortable with high-volume outreach and building momentum with cold prospects Excellent communication, listening, and consultative selling skills Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts quickly Strong organizational skills and pipeline management Experience selling to SMBs (doctors, restaurants, bars, etc.) 1–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or tech-enabled services Benefits Medical and dental coverage with Aetna 401k benefits with Empower Unlimited paid time off (PTO) Maternity and Paternity leave Commuter benefits for hybrid employees Fully stocked pantry and fridge for hybrid employees An employee-driven culture with happy hours, team events, and other initiatives to celebrate our many successes Company Overview Torch Dental is a rapidly growing start-up whose mission is to improve the lives of healthcare providers by simplifying supply ordering, providing transparent pricing, and modernizing a previously outdated ordering process.
