Youtube Video Editor - Remote
About the role We’re a small, growing remote editing team helping an overseas creator turn GTA V roleplay and gameplay footage into engaging YouTube videos and Shorts. If you enjoy storytelling, pacing, and meme/comedy-style edits, you’ll fit in well. What you’ll do Long-form (YouTube videos) • Edit raw GTA V VODs into 1–60+ minute videos • Cut dead time, improve pacing, and build a strong story flow • Add captions, sound effects, zooms/punch-ins, and simple transitions • Basic audio balancing (voice/game/music) and light color correction • Create strong hooks and endings (“next episode” feel) Short-form (Shorts/Clips) • Create 15–60 second vertical videos (9:16) • Add mobile-friendly subtitles • Highlight comedic timing, punchlines, and reactions General • Keep projects organized (files, exports, project folders) • Communicate clearly about deadlines and revisions (chat/email) • Follow a consistent style once established Schedule / Hours • Remote, flexible schedule (work any day/time as long as deadlines are met) • 20–40 hours/week depending on workload • No required overtime (any extra work is discussed and approved in advance) Requirements • Video editing experience (portfolio required) • Adobe Premiere Pro proficiency • Strong pacing, clean cuts, subtitles/captions, and basic SFX/BGM use • Reliable PC + stable internet • Clear communication and ability to meet deadlines Nice to have • Gaming/YouTube editing experience (especially GTA V / RP) • Shorts/TikTok/Reels editing experience • Thumbnail design (Photoshop or similar) • Comfortable working with Discord/Slack/Google Drive Pay & Bonuses • Hourly pay (rate discussed based on skill/portfolio) • Performance/quality bonuses may be available • No commute stipend (remote role) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20 per week Application Question(s): • Do you watch GTA V RP Content?
