They are seeking a skilled Workstation Deployment Technician to assist with the lifecycle tasks related to desktop and laptop computers, including preparation, imaging, operating system installation, and user onboarding. Responsibilities Assist with the lifecycle tasks related to desktop and laptop computers, currently an installed base of approximately 50,000 devices Preparation, imaging, operating system and application installation, transfer of user settings and data, placement on the customer’s desk, onboarding of the customer to the new computer, retrieval of the customer’s previous computer, sanitization and removal of computer hardware Perform assigned work in a variety of workplace environments including large multi-tenant office buildings, regional field offices, correctional facilities, elected official offices, laboratories, warehouses, and public use spaces Skills This position requires a minimum of one (1) years of IT experience Experience installing, setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting, of computer hardware, software, and peripherals Experience with current mobile (Android, iOS), Windows Client Operating Systems and MacOs Experience with Microsoft Office and Industry standard web browsers Experience with remote support and collaboration tools (e.g. Bomgar, Beyond Trust, TeamViewer, Config Man, RDP, Microsoft Teams, Webex Teams, Slack, Zoom, etc.) Experience working with incident logging, work tracking systems for retrieving ticket queue for work orders.
