Workday Integration Consultant
We are looking for a Workday Integrations Consultant on a contract basis, They would be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting Workday integrations across HRIS functions. The role partners with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions, ensure data integrity, and provide production support. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise in Workday integrations, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications • Design, develop, configure, and test Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Extend, Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, XPath, RaaS, calculated fields, and custom reports. • Develop complex Document Transformations (DTs) and support payroll interfaces including PECI, PICOF, ERP integrations, and vendor connections such as ADP. • Create, review, and maintain integration specifications, functional requirements, system configuration, testing scripts, and cutover plans. • Provide production support including ticket management, triaging, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. • Participate in business meetings and stakeholder workshops to document requirements and review solution designs. • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, and compliance across all integration activities. • Lead short- and mid-term integration projects with minimal guidance and exercise independent judgment. • Offer guidance and mentorship to team members working on Workday integrations and reporting. • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. • Demonstrate strong customer service orientation, responsiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to work with geographically distributed teams. • Effectively multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. • Bring 4+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience and 5+ years of experience in HR, Payroll, Integrations, or Reporting domains. • Have good knowledge of HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Security Administration, and Business Process configuration. • Understanding of data conversion concepts such as Workday iLoads and bulk data loading. • Working knowledge of BIRT preferred and strong proficiency in MS Excel. • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Workday certifications are a plus. • Knowledge of all phases of the system development lifecycle including production support.
