Video Editor/Video Strategist(Remote)

Job Summary We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Remote Video Editor to join our creative team at Regel TV. This role focuses primarily on editing and post-producing high-quality long-form and short-form video content for YouTube and social platforms. This position operates on a 30% revenue share model, offering editors the opportunity to grow alongside the channel and earn a percentage of all revenue generated from video content, including ad revenue, sponsorships, and brand integrations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in video editing and post-production, a sharp eye for storytelling and pacing, and thrives in a remote, fast-moving creative environment. Duties • Edit raw footage into polished long-form YouTube videos and short-form content (Shorts, Reels, TikToks) using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve • Build engaging pacing, structure, and storytelling flow to maximize audience retention • Add captions/subtitles, sound effects, and background music optimized for each platform • Perform basic color correction and light color grading • Organize and manage project files and digital assets for efficient workflow • Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form clips • Collaborate with the creative lead to refine video concepts, hooks, and formats • Ensure timely delivery of edits while maintaining high quality standards Requirements • Proven experience editing YouTube and/or social media content • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve • Strong understanding of pacing, timing, and visual storytelling • Excellent attention to detail and organization • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment • Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines • Strong communication skills Preferred (Not Required): • Experience with After Effects or motion graphics • Familiarity with YouTube trends and retention strategies • Basic thumbnail or graphic design experience Compensation • 30% revenue share of all revenue generated from Regel TV video content, including: • YouTube AdSense • Sponsorships • Brand deals • Affiliate revenue How to Apply Please submit: • Editing reel or portfolio • Brief introduction about your experience • List of editing software you use • Links to channels or content you’ve edited (if available) Job Types: Part-time, Freelance Pay: $1.00 - $100.00 per day Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule Application Question(s): • Drop a link to your portfolio please! • What's your favorite part of creating?
