The Opportunity In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive industry analyst relations strategy that showcases Workwarp's unique value proposition, market differentiation, and thought leadership. Your primary objective will be to build and maintain strong relationships with key industry analysts, ensuring positive coverage and influence in the market, while collaborating with our marketing team to refine our business positioning and drive differentiation and leadership. You will also be responsible for gathering feedback from industry analysts, bringing insights back into the organization, and informing decisions around our products and services. Key Responsibilities Craft and communicate the organization's end-to-end story, highlighting its unique value proposition and market differentiation to industry analysts, media, and other key stakeholders. Foster strong relationships with key industry analysts, increasing their awareness of the organization's strategy, capabilities, and differentiators, which should contribute to improved industry rankings. Develop and execute annual plans that align with business goals, including supporting analyst research and securing leadership positions in relevant reports (Gartner Magic Quadrants, IDC MarketScapes, etc.). Facilitate timely completion of analyst briefings, surveys, and client reference requests, managing deadlines, raising awareness of analyst research schedules, and coordinating with subject matter experts (SMEs) for content creation. Lead the organization's responses to inquiries and reports through original content, client success stories with compelling metrics, and master editing to ensure consistent messaging. Prepare company spokespeople for analyst briefings by hosting prep calls, developing key messages, and creating supporting materials like talking points and slides. Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's marketing strategy, vision, and competitive landscape, ensuring consistent and effective messaging that highlights the organization's strengths and ecosystem partnerships. Maintain a repository of past responses, reports, and client references, monitoring analyst publications and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve. Nurture relationships with key analysts, plan and execute analyst events (conferences & webinars), and secure analyst participation in company-sponsored activities. Evaluate and advise the CMO on analyst subscriptions and services to optimize resource allocation and achieve corporate goals. Manage and support the professional development of assigned analysts within the program. Actively support participation in analyst research, spearhead responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), manage event participation, and oversee award and certification applications. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferable. 10+ years of experience in marketing and/or business development, with 5+ years in industry analyst relations, including demonstrated success in building relationships with top analysts. A global perspective and understanding of collaborating with colleagues across time zones. An established understanding of the industry analyst relations process. Established relationships with industry analysts that cover the organization are highly desired. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to multiple audiences. Excellent organization, program, and time management, and content development skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, meet tight deadlines, and communicate status on concurrent projects. Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation, conflict management, and executive stakeholder management skills. Flexibility and a team player mindset, given our highly collaborative, matrix global organization. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities. Knowledge of the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations. Experience with analyst relations software and tools. A strong network of contacts within the industry analyst community. Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
