User Interface Designer (UI & UX Shopify, Ecommerce and Mobile App)
We’re looking for a world-class UI/UX Designer to elevate Simify’s design experience across web and mobile This isn’t just a visual design role—it’s a chance to shape how hundreds of thousands of global travellers interact with our brand. We’re scaling fast, and we want someone who can blend polished, conversion-focused design with the human, playful essence of our brand. You’ll work closely with our Head of eCommerce, CRO Manager, and Front-End Developer to bring a new layer of design excellence across our Shopify site and mobile app. We’re aiming to become a Top 3 global brand in our category—and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to help us get there. What You’ll Be Responsible For • Lead UX and UI design for Simify’s Shopify store and mobile app • Collaborate closely with CRO and development teams to ship high-performing pages • Bring a clean, polished aesthetic that retains Simify’s human, conversational tone • Translate user research, brand guidelines, and testing data into design that works • Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes • Refine the UX of key journeys—home page, product selection, checkout, account • Manage and evolve our in-progress website reskin project (partial designs already live) • Proactively identify UX friction and opportunities for delight across web + app What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months) • Our website and app feel visually world-class and friction-free • CRO experiments are supported by design that’s both creative and data-backed • The new Simify reskin is launched and conversion-optimized • Design feedback from users, internal team, and leadership is consistently positive • You become a collaborative design voice across product, brand, and growth • A design system is forming that we can scale and reuse confidently What You’ll Bring • 3+ years of UI/UX experience, ideally in eCommerce or mobile-first products • Strong portfolio showing polished UI, conversion-led UX, and brand-sensitive work • Shopify experience is a plus (but not essential if you’re a fast learner) • You can own your design process from idea to prototype to dev handoff • You understand the balance between beauty, speed, and business goals • You’re detail-oriented and think in systems—not just standalone pages • You’re collaborative, fast-moving, and comfortable taking initiative Why You’ll Love This Role • Ownership: You’ll shape the look and feel of a product used by 500,000+ travellers • Impact: Your work directly affects conversion, retention, and global expansion • Culture: We move fast, keep things human, and build with heart • Product: eSIMs are growing fast—and we’re going for it! • Flexibility: Remote-first, async-friendly, with a focus on deep work and team alignment About Us Simify is a travel tech company helping people stay connected with seamless mobile data—no roaming fees, no airport SIM hunts, just pure digital freedom.
