The*Transcriptionist*duties include but are not limited to: • Receiving pathology slides • Entering cases in LIS • Typing gross descriptions • Adding billing codes • Excellent customer service including office telephone coverage • General office duties • Packing send out specimens • Education/Experience* • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* • Experience with Meditech, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access strongly preferred • Knowledge of Pathology Terminology preferred • Previous office experience is a plus • High volume, fast pace, multitasking required Founded in 1974, Medical City Dallas is recognized for its state-of-the-art medical facilities and commitment to excellence in patient care.
