In this role, you would help our customers achieve their dreams of home ownership by planning and executing strategic marketing initiatives through creative channels. This position is based in our state-of-the-art Chicago headquarters in Logan Square and will be a hybrid of 2-3 days in-office and remote. What You’ll Be Doing: • You will own strategy for developing the in-house creative team • Meaningfully contribute to department roadmap exercises that balance current needs with future strategic initiatives • Monitor and evolve team deliverables, individual goals, and overall performance to ensure alignment with department initiatives and the organization while coaching your team to grow skill sets • Identify any tools/processes needed to achieve content team goals and implement accordingly • Draft first iteration of cross-channel content calendar • Partner with CMO, marketing leads & key brand stakeholders on the foundational project of developing our content pillars • Immerse in the TFSB brand (recent brand refresh, visual ID/TOV, key brand messages & RTBs, current marketing campaigns.) • Acclimate to TFSB values and organizational goals to understand how your department drives initiatives forward • You'll be a key shaper of our brand & expected to ensure consistency (visual identity, tone, voice) across all marketing channels and beyond (working closely with cross-functional partners) • You'll motivate your team to deliver content excellence everyday-through strategic guidance, creative critiques, and real-time coaching & feedback • You'll guide the composition of our content team and help us grow the function over time • You'll bring storytelling excitement & energy-delivering a fresh stream of ideas, and pushing us to experiment with new tactics, new creative treatments, and new channels • You will bring to life cohesive strategy and go-to-market integrated content plans for all product launches • You'll use data to your advantage-generating ideas for data-driven content that is rigorously researched, engaging to our audience, and optimized over time • You will support integrated marketing; work collaboratively with various touch points (sales, social , digital, regional marketing teams) • You will partner closely with our external agency partners and freelance creative talent to ensure consistently excellent creative product delivery and execution • You’ll oversee brand integrated communication development, working collaboratively with copywriting and regulatory/compliance teams on integrated consumer-facing messaging • You will oversee creative and art direction for consumer facing as well as internal content development needs for employee engagement including brand photography and videography • You will establish clear guardrails for brand assets across all touchpoints and oversee development of creative with internal and external partners ensuring that all creative is on brand You’ll be a great fit if… • Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience in creative, content creation and/or content strategy including managing creative teams • Agency experience: Creative or Strategic Planning experience with a top notch creative or activation agency • Experienced with creative briefing process to ensure strong creative work • Strong creative intuition with an ability to tell stories and create engagement • At minimum, a basic level of business orientation and understanding is required • Content creation: Experience developing brand creative content and/or managing content and creative teams to deliver outstanding creative campaigns • Experience in driving successful execution of content and executions for new product launches, and market expansion initiatives • Ability to lead breakthrough communication campaigns with strong aptitude and savviness in the owned and earned media landscape • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills • Track record of success in leading cross-functional teams of internal and external partners • Owner mindset and has a strong sense of urgency with a bias for action and problem solving in the face of challenges • Inherent curiosity and creativity in solving problems to understand how things work • You're scrappy and thrive in situations that require problem solving and thinking outside the box • You can work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple personality types in a calm and professional manner • You’ve got excellent written and verbal communication skills • You’ve got the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
