The Technical Solutions Engineer provides analytical support to drive revenue and profitability growth by creating efficient logistics networks using state-of-the-art software and analytics. Responsibilities Act as a subject matter expert on MedSpeed’s routing optimization tool, supporting internal teams with guidance and troubleshooting Design appropriate MedSpeed Transportation Solution options with state-of-the-art routing software to address customer needs identified in the evaluation assessment, with a focus on both requested as well as total logistics needs Assist Customer Experience through renewal processes for existing business, providing operational analysis Analyze transportation networks and operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Customer Success teams to deliver accurate pricing and network recommendations Support market team and client driven ad hoc reporting and analysis projects Analyze client data with standard methodology set to identify improvement opportunities for client cost savings, and MedSpeed margin improvement Prepare client reports, participate in review of data and tracks net savings generated for the client over agreement period Support business development and cost analysis for potential new service lines Leverage routing software to generate existing and future market/customer profitability Support customer retention efforts Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture Support Commercial team through designing routing solutions to address customer needs, creating reports and presentations for delivery through the sales & contracting process, and modeling accurate financial expense proformas for routed solution Skills Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of business experience or Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience Degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, math, science, or economics Foundational knowledge of SQL-based analysis and Tableau High competency in Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency emphasis on Excel and Power Point Passion for large data sets, identifying opportunities, and presenting to our clients with an engaging storyline Process-minded, focused on continuous improvement while supporting the team by offering 'outside of the box' value Ability to translate results into clear, concise presentations, written reports, and data visualizations Willingness to lead projects and take full responsibility for the projects Ability to critically think, problem solve, and trouble shoot when necessary Excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skills Collaborative work style, able to work well within & across departments Highly organized, strong business and financial acumen, customer relationship builder Familiarity with data modeling concepts Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Flexible spending accounts Paid time off to recharge 401(k) to help you plan for the future Company Overview Transforming Logistics and Courier Services from Cost Center to Strategic Asset.
