As a Global Technology Technical Director, you will collaborate with other TDs to enhance workflows through software development, supporting the storytelling process. Responsibilities Work closely with other TDs to write software that improves workflow and provides film-specific functionality for other departments, including lighting and animation Skills You possess programming skills in C/C++ and/or a scripting language such as Python Your educational background helps you demonstrate an understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, lighting, texture, and form You have experience using 3D software packages like Houdini, Maya, Katana, RenderMan, etc Experience using Unix/Linux systems Minimally a junior in college working towards a BS or MS in computer science, computer graphics, digital art or a related technical field Recent grads who are within the first year post graduation are eligible to apply You already possess the legal right to work in the United States This is a full-time position.
