Tax Accountant, Level II
Job Description: • Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns. • Research the taxability of transactions • Assist with sales and use tax audits. • Assist with filing Nebraska incentive claims. • Reconciliation of sales tax accounts. • Other related responsibilities as assigned Requirements: • Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience • Have 2+ years sales and use tax experience is a plus. • Have experience with researching sales and use tax issues. • Have experience with Avalara, Oracle, or similar ERP systems. • Have excellent written and oral communication skills. • Are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel. • Have strong organizational skills and detail oriented. • Can meet tight deadlines and problem solve independently. • Can read, write, speak, and understand the English language in a business environment.
