Store Keeper - Shipyard / Marine Industry
Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies. - Store items in an organized and accessible manner. - Issue materials to production teams as per job orders. - Maintain accurate stock records using manual or digital inventory systems. - Prepare inventory reports and reconcile physical stock periodically. - Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the procurement team. - Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards in the storage area. - Coordinate with the technical and project teams for material requirements. - Handle return of unused or defective items to suppliers. - Label and tag inventory items correctly with part numbers and descriptions. **Requirements**: - Proven experience as a Store Keeper in a shipyard, marine, or industrial environment. - Knowledge of marine consumables, spares, tools, and equipment. - Familiarity with inventory software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). - Good organizational and time management skills. - Ability to lift and move heavy materials when required. - Attention to detail and a proactive attitude. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus. Preferred Qualifications: - Diploma in Mechanical, Marine, or Warehouse Management. - Knowledge of ERP systems. **Education**: - Diploma (required) **Experience**: - Shipyard / Marine Industry: 1 year (required)
