Staff Accountant
Fundraise Up is a global fundraising platform that aims to make donating to nonprofits fast and accessible. They are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with financial reporting as the company scales. Responsibilities Perform reconciliations, prepare journal entries, assist in month/year end close processes and other general accounting tasks Maintain /reconcile general ledger accounts and support monthly financial statement preparation Support expense management in Ramp including optimization/rules set up, ensuring transactions are coded properly and supporting documentation is compliant Manage company expenses and credit card spend, prepare monthly reconciliations of employee spend Support internal control procedures and assist with audit requests and compliance documentation Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA a plus 1–3 years of relevant full-time accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with SaaS, or payment processing, or marketplace businesses preferred Experience with Ramp (strongly preferred) Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) ERP systems (Netsuite, Campfire or QuickBooks) Excel/Google Sheets Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision insurance covered at 100% for employees, 80% for employee plus dependents, and 70% for employees plus family.
