Comfortable working with others to share knowledge and raise the technical ability of their peers. Strong history of work in building and running SaaS applications in production on public cloud using CICD processes. Best if experienced being first SRE in an environment. Comfortable establishing an SRE program from scratch. Strong knowledge of k8s operations and management Bonus for applicable experience with EKS. Knowledge of how applications run in k8s environment. Bonus for working knowledge of Harness CD, Jenkins, GitHub, etc. Strong knowledge in IAC code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet) Bonus for Terraform Strong knowledge of Python Extremely helpful to be knowledgeable in Groovy and/or Golang. Very strong knowledge writing shell scripts Strong knowledge in observability concepts Monitoring/Alerting SLA/SLO/SLI understanding of terms and practical experience implementing. Strong knowledge in Cloud computing concepts. Strong preference for previous work experience in AWS . Comfortable working with a development team in an iterative manner to achieve best Practices.
