About the position The Sr. Program Manager for Early Career Talent at AWS Databases is responsible for leading demand planning and intern experience programs within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the intern onboarding process, develop engagement forums, and drive initiatives that support the overall Early Career strategy. The position requires strong project management skills, effective communication, and the ability to navigate complex environments to ensure a positive experience for interns and align with business objectives. Responsibilities • Lead ECT demand collection and validation, intern conversion process, and unblock business and interns' issues. • Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Early Career Talent to cultivate new talent pipelines and develop scalable processes. • Demonstrate a broad understanding of HR operations to identify improvement opportunities. • Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks. • Identify and remove process roadblocks to enhance team efficiency. • Influence team priorities and business strategy through data-driven insights. • Regularly review metrics and seek improved data mechanisms for visibility. • Prioritize multiple inputs and initiate course corrections in a fast-paced environment. • Communicate ideas effectively to a diverse audience. • Implement regular reviews of current processes and develop suggestions for improvements.
