Job Description The Sr. Lead GCP Developer will lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires expertise in BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Python scripting, along with leadership skills to guide a team of developers and ensure high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities • Lead the development and implementation of GCP-based solutions for enterprise applications. • Design and optimize data pipelines using BigQuery and Cloud Storage. • Develop and deploy Cloud Functions for serverless computing and automation. • Write and maintain Python scripts for data processing and integration tasks. • Ensure security, scalability, and performance optimization in GCP environments. • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define technical solutions. • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in GCP deployments. Mandatory Skills & Experience • 8+ years in software development with at least 5+ years in GCP. • Strong hands-on experience with at least 5+ years of BigQuery (data modeling, query optimization). • Cloud Storage (data management, lifecycle policies). • Cloud Functions (serverless architecture). • Python scripting for automation and data processing. • 4+ Years Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). • Knowledge of IAM policies, security best practices, and compliance in GCP. • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Desired Skills • Exposure to ETL tools and data migration strategies. • Understanding of microservices architecture and API development. • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
