Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive SOP and Policy Documentation Coordinator to ! In this role, you will play a vital part in developing and organizing Policies and Procedures (Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs) that guide our Operations teams in completing government-required assessments, ensuring citizens receive essential benefits and waiver services. You'll use your organizational and administrative skills to maintain and publish these documents within our Knowledge Management System, similar to SharePoint, ensuring accessibility and accuracy. As a strong communicator, you'll collaborate across teams to gather input, refine business processes, and deliver clear and actionable documentation. This role also includes a unique blend of responsibilities, dedicating 10 hours per week to credentialing activities and 30 hours per week to supporting policy development and related tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Work on assignments using tools such as Adobe Acrobat Reader and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint that are routine in nature, with responsibilities easily learned on the job. - Communicate routine information in a clear and accurate way verbally or in written form with internal & external contacts. - Maintain and track policies, procedures, work instructions, forms, and other resources throughout the Controlled Document Process. - Ensure all documents within the Controlled Document system are managed appropriately and updated according to approved processes, including thorough assessment and tracking of revision histories in the Knowledge Management system. - Identify and classify all documentation based on documentation type and control type required, as well as identify all document associations, related legislation, and accreditation standards. - Administer user accounts in the Knowledge Management system, including creating new users, archiving users, and providing support to users as needed. - Read, understand & perform assignments within prescribed guidelines. - Problem solve and think critically and innovatively to independently complete tasks while also working collaboratively to meet team goals. - Assist in maintenance of documentation and identification of changes that may be required due to project Change Requests and new initiatives. Minimum Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent required. - 2 - 4 years of experience required. - Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint or similar applications. - Strong communication skills. - Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Level 3 or equivalent), including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Strong Customer Service - Effective time management skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
