Solar Project Manager

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN RENEWABLE ENERGY/SOLAR* • MUST RESIDE IN ONE OF THESE STATES: CA, HI, TX, FL, WA, OR, AZ, UT* Renewable Energy Project Manager The Project Manager will lead by example while diving into multiple areas of the business to ensure that critical projects and tasks are completed in a timely manner. An important component of the role is organization and leadership as your skills are needed to administer documents and processes and work closely with all organizational functions, vendor, subcontractors, AHJs and customers. • Be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit understanding that we encourage fearlessness, collaboration, and communication. • Maintain complicated schedules for multiple projects, develop project timelines, and manage people and materials to complete jobs on schedule and within budget. • Manage and coordinate the development and submittal of all project plan sets, permits and inspections and create purchase orders for needed materials. • Manage diverse details from construction means and methods to contract language and legal protection. • Independently manage installation crew schedules, deployment, and communications. • Coordinate project handoff from sales to operations to customer success. • Interface with customers to keep them informed throughout project lifecycle. • Develop and distribute all project documentation, delivery checklists, quality assurance, etc. to project teams. • Prepare and submit all utility interconnection documentation when necessary. • Attend and lead weekly project management, design meetings and customer meetings. • Coordinate and manage invoicing and collections with finance. Reconcile all jobs against budgets. • Assist Sales Team in estimating and selling Solar PV systems with preliminary designs. • Work closely to prioritize key activities on projects in various stages from presale, permitting, through close and punch list. • Track accuracy from initial stage estimates through various development and construction phases. • Ensure on-time project delivery of all documents, forms as needed per management and project workflow. • Assist with the management of client relationships, including customers, local installers, and project participants, to achieve positive client satisfaction feedback and ratings. • Provide constructive feedback to senior management as well as other department heads • Assists COO with supply chain, procurement, logistics, production and warehousing of Company product. • Other responsibilities as determined by management. Requirements • HS Diploma or Higher Education, Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) • PMP Certification (Preferred) • 2+ years relevant experience required in the solar and development industry • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Must be attentive to detail and have superior problem-solving skills • Must have knowledge of residential and commercial solar PV systems • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must be proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel). • Must be a motivated team player with a positive attitude. • Valid Driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance • Paid time off Experience: • Solar Energy: 1 year (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
