They are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to participate in an Agile team, developing software and collaborating with engineers to enhance user experience for utility industry customers. Responsibilities Collaborate with cloud engineers to estimate the size and effort of small automation or infrastructure-related tasks Develop scripts, utilities, or small tooling enhancements based on internal team needs and specifications Participate in planning meetings, technical discussions, documentation updates, and other aspects of the infrastructure workflow Fix low-complexity defects in internal tools, scripts, or configurations Assist with getting started on automated tests for our security regression bucket by contributing simple test cases, validation checks, or framework setup Support research spikes on cloud services, automation opportunities, or operational improvements Skills Current student working toward a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with a computing or cloud emphasis Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Excited to be part of a dynamic engineering team improving infrastructure, automation, and internal tooling Experience with scripting or C#/.NET development Basic understanding of Azure and cloud/infrastructure concepts Familiarity with Git and general software engineering basics (logs, debugging, working in a repo) Benefits Overtime pay Premium pay or differentials, depending on location Company Overview Schneider Electric specializes in the digital transformation of energy management and automation.
