They are seeking a Software Engineer I to design and develop satellite command and control systems using Elixir, collaborating with engineers from various disciplines to create effective solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and sustain satellite command and control, mission planning, mission data processing and data analysis software systems using Elixir Bring your voice to the table in team collaborations on architecture, design, and code reviews Interact and collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to create emergent results Skills 0 to 2 years of software development experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar discipline or relevant experience Functional programming experience in Elixir and/or Erlang Proven experience developing resilient and fault-tolerant architecture Demonstrated leadership ability, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and aptitude for working across disciplines Enjoys debugging and problem solving live systems Experience with distributed systems A strong bias towards understanding and rejecting the status quo U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance Deep understanding of Elixir and OTP including BEAM scheduling, GenServers, run queues, and pg or the Actor model Experience with OAuth2 and role-based access controls Database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL Experience with monitoring and tracing in a distributed system Experience working with real-time or game engine backends Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance Benefits Health Dental Vision HRA/HSA options PTO and paid holidays 401K Parental Leave Company Overview True Anomaly is builds space security and resilience at the intersection of spacecraft, software, and autonomy.
