About Us: We are a leading multi-specialty healthcare organization with over 50 board-certified surgeons and a growing presence in patient-centered care. We are looking for a skilled and creative Social Media Content Creator with a strong background in video production and editing to help humanize our brand, highlight physician expertise, and educate the public through compelling, high-quality digital content. Position Overview: The Social Media Content Creator will lead the development and execution of multimedia content for social channels — with a primary focus on filming, editing, and producing short- and long-form video content. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, marketing staff, and clinical teams to craft stories that reflect the excellence and innovation within our practice. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, shoot, and edit video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms — including interviews, patient stories, surgical education, behind-the-scenes moments, and event coverage. • Develop and implement a strategic content calendar that aligns with business goals and healthcare communications best practices. • Repurpose video content into teasers, highlight reels, and still images for cross-platform distribution. • Work with physicians and staff to make clinical topics accessible, engaging, and compliant with healthcare regulations (HIPAA). • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social channels. • Stay current on platform trends, video formats, and audience engagement strategies. • Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, watch time) and optimize content based on insights. • Collaborate with internal marketing, PR, and digital teams to align messaging and campaigns. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. • 3–5+ years of experience in social media content creation, with a strong emphasis on video production and editing. • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar. • Hands-on experience with filming equipment (DSLR/mirrorless cameras, microphones, lighting kits). • Strong portfolio of original video content — especially in professional, healthcare, or educational settings. • Understanding of storytelling principles, pacing, transitions, and audio balancing for social media. • Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy in digital communications. • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience working in a clinical or healthcare environment. • Knowledge of animation or motion graphics (After Effects, Canva Pro). • Photography and graphic design capabilities.
