Shopify Fullstack Developer – Remote (US)

They are looking for a Shopify Full-Stack Developer who wants real ownership, meaningful impact, and the chance to build a best-in-class digital experience. About the Role As a Shopify Full-Stack Developer, you will take ownership of the ecommerce technology stack and play a critical role in how the brand shows up online. You will work closely with ecommerce leadership and collaborate across growth, creative, CX, and operations teams to ship features, support launches, improve performance, and ensure rock-solid tracking across the funnel. This role is ideal for a hands-on builder who enjoys solving complex problems, optimizing for speed and scale, and building systems that support long-term growth. You will have real autonomy, high visibility, and the opportunity to shape how the platform evolves as the business grows. What You Will Do Front-End and Back-End Development • Own and maintain all Shopify code using Liquid and JavaScript • Build and maintain custom APIs and server-side logic that support ecommerce and operations • Develop reusable components, scalable templates, and dynamic content • Create integrations that enhance personalization, search, and customer support experiences Site Performance and Optimization • Monitor and continuously improve site speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness • Identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and technical SEO issues • Optimize code and assets without sacrificing visual or functional quality • Use AI tools to support QA, UX improvements, and performance benchmarking Tracking and Analytics Infrastructure • Implement and maintain accurate event tracking, tags, pixels, and server-side tracking • Partner with growth and analytics teams to QA tracking for campaigns and launches • Maintain clear documentation for tracking and data flows • Stay ahead of privacy changes and evolving ad tech requirements Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with ecommerce, growth, creative, CX, and external vendors to ship updates • Support QA for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and app integrations • Assess technical feasibility for new initiatives and emerging technologies • Collaborate on infrastructure projects related to security, scalability, and DNS Innovation and Continuous Improvement • Stay current on Shopify platform updates and ecosystem tools • Monitor ecommerce, martech, and AI trends to recommend improvements • Champion experimentation that improves conversion and customer experience What You Bring • 5 to 7 or more years of full-stack development experience in ecommerce environments • Deep expertise in Shopify, Liquid, JavaScript, and custom API development • Strong experience with performance optimization and mobile-first development • Proven experience implementing client-side and server-side tracking • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments • Experience with Git, GitHub, and collaborative code review workflows • Brand-side experience preferred, agency experience welcome with strong brand exposure • Proactive, collaborative, and motivated to build scalable systems Compensation and Details • Salary: $130,000 to $150,000 depending on experience • Full-time, fully remote role based in the US • Standard schedule aligned to Eastern Time business hours Ready to Apply?
