Job Description and Duties Do you want to work on the high-paced, dynamic State Fund Legal Lien team? State Compensation Insurance Fund's ("State Fund's") Legal Lien team is seeking a Senior Lien Representative (Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster) and/or a Lien Representative (Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster). At State Fund, our Senior Lien Representative / Lien Representative provide representation, consultation, analysis, defense, and testimony on lien cases at the Division of Workers' Compensation ("DWC") lien hearings in accordance with regional office/corporate policies As a Senior Lien Representative / Lien Representative, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact by handling, defending, litigating, and resolving workers' compensation liens. Location: The Legal Lien team appears at multiple Workers' Compensation Appeals Board district offices throughout California. It is anticipated the position will serve in Northern California and in the Los Angeles area. However, the successful candidates might be assigned to appear at other Boards and locations as well. These positions offer the flexibility of remote work/telework. However, to facilitate local in-person hearings, the successful candidates will be expected to attend some hearings and other calendar commitments in-person.
