Manage vendor relationships: The Senior Vendor Management Professional will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Optimize vendor performance: This role will involve identifying opportunities for improving vendor performance, whether through negotiation, process improvements, or other means. Ensure quality service delivery: The Senior Vendor Management Professional will play a critical role in ensuring that vendors meet or exceed service level agreements and deliver high-quality services to Humana. Analyze data and trends: With a strong focus on data and analytics, this position will require the ability to analyze vendor performance data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations. Communicate effectively: The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and senior leadership to drive vendor management initiatives. Negotiate contracts: Working closely with legal and procurement teams, this role will involve negotiating vendor contracts to secure the best possible terms for Humana. Monitor vendor compliance: The Senior Vendor Management Professional will be responsible for monitoring vendor compliance with contractual agreements, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Develop and maintain vendor scorecards: This position will involve creating and maintaining vendor scorecards to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform decision-making. Stay informed on industry trends: The Senior Vendor Management Professional will be expected to stay current on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in vendor management to drive continuous improvement. Mentor and train team members: As a senior member of the team, this role will involve mentoring and training other team members to ensure a high level of expertise in vendor management within the organization.
