Job title: Senior Treasury Analyst Company: Whiting Job description: Position Summary The Sr. Treasury Analyst will assist with a wide variety of cash management duties across multiple payment systems. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, demonstrates initiative, and takes responsibility. The position requires ongoing and clear communication across many groups, including various accounting departments, the field offices, and 3rd party service providers. This individual will be located in our downtown Houston office as a part of the Finance department. No relocation benefits offered. Essential Job Functions This individual will be responsible for daily performance of a variety of daily/weekly duties including: Daily cash forecasting, liquidity management, reporting & reconciliations Credit facility maintenance, debt and interest payments Manual wire and check payments, batch payments for operations/revenue, etc. Fleet & purchasing card program Bank account administration, including opening and closing accounts, account analysis, and associated controls Prepare & maintain various reports for treasury and insurance purposes Identify and implement controls and process improvements Assist with internal & external audit requests Participate in special projects as needed Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of Treasury Operations experience Excellent written & verbal communication skills Capability to balance/track competing priorities and shift attention quickly Skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization and outside vendors Team player, strong work ethic, fast learner, attention to detail, critical thinking Solid experience with MS Excel & Word Ability to meet deadlines Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
