About the Agency Partnership Team The Agency Partnership team is a high-performing team that drives customer success by partnering with a wide range of agency partners. As a Senior Strategic Agency Manager, you will be a key player in this team, leveraging your executive influencing skills to partner with traditional media agencies and increase the value that Google media brings to their agency business and their customers' businesses. Your goal will be to drive business growth and product adoption for Google, while prioritizing stakeholder relationships and collaborating with a portfolio of agencies to discover, develop, and execute business growth strategies. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will focus on influencing budget allocation to increase digital capabilities and strengthening long-term commercial growth partnerships within our agencies. Your key responsibilities will include: Delivering against ambitious quarterly business and product growth objectives, growing agency business by driving scalable product adoption and growth across a broad portfolio of Agency clients. Owning a portfolio of agencies by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for achievement. Working across levels of agency partners to grow new and existing business consistently, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding business experiences to Google's agency partners. Collaborating with Large Customer Sales Agency counterparts on cross-channel agencies, aligning on strategic and product priorities with Google Customer Solutions to provide a cohesive experience to our agencies and their clients. Shaping the agency program by being a thought partner for the Agency Lead on strategic initiatives and agency-level planning. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries. Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management. Experience managing agreements or partnerships. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with: Experience assessing and achieving agency success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling, and competitive selling. Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on both performance and brand marketing. Knowledge of agency business models (digital and traditional), customer retention, growth and new business acquisition for agencies. Knowledge of traditional versus online marketing strategy and tactics. Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders simultaneously. Ability to own a portfolio in a sales context, and consistently overachieve goals and business objectives to drive growth. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong executive influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions. A deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including traditional and online media, and the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business growth. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
