About the Role The Senior Sourcing Specialist is a key position within blithequark's procurement team, focusing on the strategic sourcing of professional services. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders across the organization to identify best-in-class service providers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships. You'll be at the forefront of driving business growth, process improvements, and innovation, while developing your skills as a strategic business leader. Key Responsibilities Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing decisions. Develop and execute RFI/RFP processes for professional services in accordance with blithequark's policies and procedures. Analyze bids based on total cost/delivery to identify opportunities for cost optimization. Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiation strategies using Strategic Sourcing methodology. Prepare and execute contracts, as well as perform post-award administration. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute performance management programs with service providers. Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices. Communicate and document key external relationships that impact planning and decision-making. Analyze industry trends and market conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external service providers. Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of industry best practices. Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all interactions. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in services category sourcing. The ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels. Strong strategic agility and analytical skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment. Internal client awareness and the ability to work in diverse environments. Knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes, basic legal terms & conditions, and industry trends. Proven expertise with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements. Established experience working with the legal department on matters regarding boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have: Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services. A background in Professional Services Sourcing. Consulting/Advisory experience. Education A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field is required for this role.
