As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in this journey, developing cutting-edge solutions to automate network operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: Shaping the Future of Disney's Network Infrastructure Design, develop, and implement data pipelines for the deployment of our network automation platform, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Create end-to-end data workflows, encompassing data collection, processing, and automated access, to support network automation and optimization. Develop and execute a strategy to store and maintain the integrity of network standards as code, collaborating with Network Architects and Software Engineers to drive network automation. Design and implement tools to facilitate the transformation of data schemas from disparate sources to our defined data model, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Serve as a Level 4 escalation point for network automation, providing expert support and guidance to resolve complex issues. Create and deliver reports to senior leadership, highlighting key achievements and upcoming milestones for network automation. Design and implement the foundation for AI and Machine Learning advancements in network tasks, driving innovation and efficiency. Essential Qualifications: The Skills and Expertise We're Looking For Experience working with structured and unstructured data on social and non-social datasets, with a deep understanding of data processing and analysis. Proficiency with automation and integration tools, such as Ansible, and experience with API design, development, and implementation. Strong background in DevOps tools, including source code control (GIT), CI/CD, databases, Docker, and Kubernetes, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security. Experience developing high-availability, highly scalable, and highly secure software applications and services, with a strong emphasis on quality and performance. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, using analytical skills, frameworks, and tools, and creative problem-solving abilities to drive solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Nice to Have, But Not Required Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Splunk, with experience in implementing and managing these tools. Cloud applications expertise in a multi-cloud environment, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and migration. Experience with various aspects of network operations, including network automation, WAN, security, and tooling, with a strong understanding of network protocols and architectures. Ability to collaborate with vendors to understand their approach to new designs, design rules, and frameworks, driving innovation and best practices.
