Senior ServiceNow Platform Administrator

Place of Performance: Remote, but must be able to work 8:00 - 5:00 EST Years of Experience: 8+ Education/Certification Requirements: BS, Engineering, Management Information Systems of Related Technical Degree or 10+ years of Experience. ServiceNow Certification a Plus. Specific Duties This position will provide the ServiceNow Platform Administration services including but not limited to: • Upgrade all instances when ServiceNow releases updated versions that require preparation, testing, and bug fixes across production and non-production environments. • Setting up and configuring ServiceNow instances, cloning, update sets, API and Restful web services integrations, certificate management, MID-Servers, etc. • Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation • Manage Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists • Manage deployment of update sets and synchronization of changes between multiple ServiceNow instances • Resolve help desk/support tickets for reported incidents or defects • Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures • Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills • U.S. Citizenship • Active ServiceNow CSA • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow systems administration and support • Demonstrated experience with upgrading systems, software migrations, and resolving help desk tickets • Experience configuring mid-servers • Experience configuring ACLs, business rules, roles, permissions and groups • Strong experience deploying in an Agile Environment, including managing update sets, release management, cloning, and family upgrades • Familiarity with JavaScript • Triage and managing incident response Our Company Overview: Business Computers Management Consulting Group, LLC (BCMC) is a small business specializing in Information Technology (IT), Cybersecurity, Information Assurance (IA), SOA, Big Data Management, Program Management, and more for Federal, State, and Local agencies.
