In this role, you will play a critical role in protecting the integrity and security of medical devices, ultimately safeguarding the health and well-being of patients. Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and protocols to ensure the safety and integrity of medical devices. Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and address potential security threats. Monitor and analyze security logs and data to identify and respond to any security incidents. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to medical device cybersecurity and ensure the company is in compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into all stages of the product development lifecycle. Lead and mentor a team of security engineers to ensure efficient and effective execution of cybersecurity initiatives. Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity and compliance for medical devices, providing guidance and support to other teams within the company. Communicate with external vendors and partners to ensure their compliance with cybersecurity standards. Participate in audits and assessments to evaluate the company's cybersecurity posture and make recommendations for improvement. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements. Proactively identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies. Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure all cybersecurity policies and procedures align with industry regulations. Conduct research and stay informed on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends in the medical device industry.
