Senior Risk Consultant II – Business Interruption & Continuity Planning We are looking for a Senior Risk Consultant II for our Large Corporate Property team. This role would be perfect for someone with work experience and/or a certification in Business Interruption or Business Continuity Planning but not required. The role is remote, but candidates must reside in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, or Tennessee for travel purposes to service clients. The Impact You Will Have Reporting to the NA Regional Manager – Property Risk Engineering, you will provide Property Risk Engineering expertise, support and assistance to Allianz Commercial and its customers, assisting underwriting in risk selection and retention of accounts. This includes field engineering risk evaluation and account engineering risk assessment, coordinating loss control activity, servicing assigned accounts, and performing loss control survey work in a geographic region. Responsibilities • Support large corporate clients with complex business occupancies and structures; complete on‑site risk assessments and plan reviews; summarize exposures and controls. • Survey client operations; identify hazards; generate risk engineering reports and recommendations; develop loss control programs and conduct stewardship meetings. • Produce accurate work products: account summaries, desktop reviews, loss control reports, confirmation letters; deliver per GSOP requirements and deadlines. • Analyze and combine third‑party reports and correspondence into deliverables; maintain smooth workflow with clients, brokers, and insurers. • Assist with ongoing projects, industry groups, cross‑functional projects, and training within ARC Corporate Property. What You’ll Bring to the Role • Minimum 5 years’ loss prevention engineering experience in a HPR type insurance environment; knowledge of property hazards and controls. • Strong background in Business Continuity Planning preferred. • Experience in specialist industries or hazards such as semiconductor, chemical/pharmaceutical, automotive, or emerging risks is a plus. • Insurance industry experience and knowledge of loss prevention and fire protection. • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience). • Familiarity with NFPA and FM Global guidelines; commitment to staying current. • Advanced experience identifying and mitigating complex business interruption and supply chain risks. • Proficiency in MS Office products and basic computer operation. • Willingness to use AI tools to enhance efficiency. • Self‑starter who works effectively in a home office and team environment. • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. • Ability to travel throughout the U.S. (and occasionally Canada or internationally). The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance‑based cash incentive awards.
