We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a contract position with one of our prestigious clients in the financial and wealth management sector. The client is a financial planning-focused wealth advisory firm with approximately $20 Billion in Assets Under Management and 350 employees. Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with adept skills in Business Systems Analysis (BSA), Testing, and Training. This multifaceted role requires a strategic and analytical thinker who can manage complex projects while also diving into detailed systems analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in Salesforce, enhancing their ability to streamline processes and facilitate effective solutions. In this position, you will lead project planning and execution, collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions through comprehensive testing and training protocols. Responsibilities and Duties • Collaborate with subject matter experts, business functions, and BSA to understand and communicate training objectives, requirements, and project goals. • Schedule and facilitate various project meetings, create and maintain standard project artifacts, and maintain effective communications between stakeholders. • Negotiate and manage scope change requests, evaluate risks, provide mitigation strategies, and communicate effectively to leadership. • Schedule and facilitate kickoff, status, SME requirements, risk reviews, retrospectives, and other meetings, as required. • Conduct thorough business analysis to identify user requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications. • Develop and maintain documentation of business processes, workflows, and system requirements for clarity and future reference. • Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate that software meets business requirements and quality standards. • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, gather feedback from end-users, and work with the development team to implement necessary changes. • Provide hands-on training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems, tools, and processes. • Monitor and track the resolution of defects and issues identified during testing phases, ensuring timely fixes and retesting. • Evaluate and analyze training effectiveness through assessments and surveys, providing recommendations for improvements. Education / Professional Experience • 10 years of proven experience in project management. • 5 years of experience in the financial and wealth management sectors. • 5 years of experience in conducting training sessions and user acceptance testing. • 5 years of experience in Salesforce (preferred) Licenses / Certifications • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field. • Relevant certifications in project management and/or PMP. • Salesforce certification is a plus.
