Job Opportunity: Senior Payroll Specialist - Remote Data Entry We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of employee payroll, while providing exceptional support to our employees. This is a remote data entry opportunity with a day shift, and the successful candidate will be based in the Philippines. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll for assigned APAC countries using a third-party payroll company Prepare, post, and update payroll changes, new hires, and leavers for every entity to the payroll services in a timely manner through Workday HCM Coordinate with payroll companies on timely payout to personnel and statutory payments Perform tasks associated with monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reporting and taxation Serve as the point of contact for employees on payroll questions through the Zendesk ticketing system Record, screen, and report on monthly payroll costs and raise purchase orders Report on payroll services' settlement renewal dates Collaborate with Philippines and Singapore team members to ensure global system alignment Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in payroll and accounting processing in a BPO or shared services environment Experience working in APAC payroll, particularly in Korea, Australia, and India Excellent knowledge of payroll and associated statutory labor laws required for payroll-related calculations Above-average proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Microsoft Excel, and Word, and Workday Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications: Experience with payroll processing and compliance in multiple countries Knowledge of Workday HCM and payroll processing systems Certification in payroll or accounting, such as CPP or CPA What We Offer: Competitive Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Wellness programs and resources Generous parental leave policies Stock options and bonuses for eligible employees Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Netflix, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
