About the Team Our Platform Account Development team is a dynamic sales force that collaborates closely with our Account Management team to understand the growth goals of our restaurant customers. By tailoring our solutions to meet their needs, we help them succeed and expand our presence in the market. As a Senior Manager on this team, you'll play a pivotal role in leading front-line managers, driving sales performance, and shaping the customer experience. Job Overview As a Senior Manager, Strategic Account Development, you'll be responsible for: Leading and developing high-performing sales teams to drive new Platform adoption growth across SMB restaurants Hiring, training, and performance-managing talent to achieve sales goals and build a motivating work environment Collaborating with S&O and Product partners to craft the optimal customer experience and stay ahead of industry trends Analyzing sales data and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and improve processes Driving business growth by identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities, including 0 to 1 initiatives and product-market fit Key Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: A proven track record as a high-achieving sales leader, with experience building and executing pipeline strategies Strong people leadership skills, with a focus on developing and growing talent, and driving engagement and performance A customer-obsessed mindset, with the ability to understand and address customer pain points at both individual and systemic levels Experience identifying and leading 0 to 1 opportunities, with a keen eye for product-market fit and business growth A balance of optimism and pragmatism, with a "win-win-win" approach that benefits customers, the team, and the company Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Experience in the food delivery or logistics industries, or a related field A background in sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving growth and revenue Familiarity with DoorDash's platform and services, or a willingness to learn What We Offer At DoorDash, we're committed to supporting the well-being and success of our employees.
