The Role: Leading End-to-End Packaging Design Innovation As our Senior Manager, E2E Packaging Design, you'll be at the forefront of driving the complete packaging development process, from conceptualization to commercialization. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, engineering, and developing next-generation packaging concepts that captivate consumers and drive business growth. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design, engineering, and development, resulting in innovative and consumer-friendly solutions. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Packaging Design Development: Spearhead the design and engineering of consumer-centric packaging concepts, managing the full development process and ensuring cross-functional collaborations. Design Capability Development: Research and operationalize new methodologies, technologies, and trends that enhance packaging design and functionality, leveraging 3D printing, label printing, and other technologies to create prototypes. Design Best Practices Stewardship: Support the Senior Director, Design & Digital in maintaining global stewardship of packaging design best practices, ensuring consumer recruitment and retention, as well as system operational efficiency. Technical Problem Solving: Provide engineering expertise for design projects, ensuring feasibility through Design-For-Manufacturing principles and holistic understanding of operational efficiencies. Internal Influence: Collaborate with Engineering & Conversion, GDI, Brand, and Category partners to deliver consumer-centric packaging designs, using ideation and storytelling techniques to communicate design concepts and user experiences effectively. Competitive Benchmarking: Track new market entrants globally, assessing their packaging effectiveness and operationalizing learnings into new packaging design opportunities. Project Management: Lead and oversee projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring all project deliverables meet or exceed expectations. Qualifications & Requirements: To excel in this role, you'll need: Education: A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of professional experience in packaging design, industrial design, or a related discipline, with a proven track record in the CPG industry. Solid understanding of beverage manufacturing, Glass, Injection, and Injection Stretch Blow-Molding (ISBM) manufacturing processes, and design requirements for successful commercialization. Strong proficiency in concept ideation, consumer-centric design techniques, and 3D modeling and rendering software (Catia, Rhino, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey design ideas and consumer experiences. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. Preferred qualifications include: Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in packaging design. Experience with 3D printing and prototype modeling. Ability to create effective storyboards and user experience mockups. Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools and graphic design skills.
