Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Gameplay Engineer to join our team in developing an original, non-violent MMORPG. As a Senior Gameplay Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining gameplay and content systems, as well as data-driven tooling in Unreal Engine. You will work closely with our design team and engineering group to translate designs into polished player experiences and high-performance client and server code. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain gameplay and content systems in Unreal Engine Collaborate with the design team to translate designs into polished player experiences Work with the engineering group to develop high-performance client and server code Focus on the instant-to-second or "game-experience" factors of the project Develop and maintain data-driven tooling to support gameplay and content creation Troubleshoot and optimize gameplay and performance issues Requirements Essential Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on gameplay engineering Strong C++ programming and debugging skills Experience with Unreal Engine and its architecture Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a remote team environment Portfolio of work that showcases your gameplay engineering skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with animation programming Development experience with multiplayer projects Familiarity with data-driven tooling and game engine components Experience with automated testing and continuous integration Knowledge of game development pipelines and workflows What We Offer Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary, with a focus on delivering top-of-market compensation.
