Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service primarily by telephone to Medicaid Providers and/or Members, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Assist customers with coverage and claims-related questions, interpreting benefits and policy provisions for beneficiaries, and ensuring that they receive accurate and helpful information Conduct research and follow-up for prompt resolution of disputed claims, documenting all interactions and outcomes in our computer system Accurately interpret benefits and policy provisions for beneficiaries, ensuring that they receive the support and guidance they need Document calls clearly and consistently in the computer system, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all customer interactions are properly tracked and recorded Essential Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and support Experience working in the healthcare industry, specifically with Medicaid or Medicare, with a strong understanding of the complexities and challenges of this field Ability to follow written policies and procedures, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality Good written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner High School Diploma or equivalent; may hold a 2-year post-high school degree or a Bachelor's degree, with a strong foundation in customer service, healthcare, or a related field Preferred Qualifications Experience in health/human services, with a deep understanding of the social determinants of health and the importance of patient-centered care Familiarity with auto answer systems, with the ability to navigate complex technology systems and leverage them to deliver exceptional customer service Experience working in a metric-driven work environment, with a strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the ability to meet specific service level agreements (SLAs) Prior office or clerical experience, with a strong foundation in administrative tasks and the ability to maintain accurate records and files Experience meeting specific service level agreements (SLAs), with a proven track record of delivering results and achieving goals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members, providing opportunities for career advancement, training, and education.
