Our mission is to provide equitable care that addresses health disparities and improves health outcomes, while also mitigating our impact on the environment. **Job Summary** As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for reviewing and researching incoming healthcare claim calls from providers, navigating multiple computer systems and platforms, and verifying the data and information necessary for processing. You will also communicate and collaborate with providers to resolve issues, using clear and simple language to ensure understanding. You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role. **Responsibilities** - Review and research incoming healthcare claim calls from providers by navigating multiple computer systems and platforms and verifying the data and information necessary for processing (e.g., pricing, prior authorizations, applicable benefits) - Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems - Communicate and collaborate with providers to resolve issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding - Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of: efficiency, accuracy, quality, and attendance - Work collaboratively with other teams to resolve complex issues and improve processes - Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on new systems, processes, and technologies **Requirements** - High School Diploma or GED - Must be 18 years of age or older - Working knowledge with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications - Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST from Monday - Friday, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need - Reside within the Central or Mountain Time Zone - Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) - Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy - Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service **Preferred Qualifications** - 1 year of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.), using phones and computers as the primary job tools - Health care experience **Soft Skills** - Ability to de-escalate calls, listen to customer needs, and respond appropriately with compassion and empathy - Ability to multi-task for extended periods of time, including managing calls while also navigating multiple computer systems - Ability to remain organized, focused, and productive on highly detailed repetitive tasks - Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently research issues using multiple information sources **Compensation and Benefits** - Competitive hourly rate of $16.54 - $32.55 per hour, based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. - Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance - Incentive and recognition programs - Equity stock purchase and 401k contribution - Opportunities for career growth and development **Work Environment and Culture** - arenaflex is a remote-friendly organization, with a flexible work environment that allows you to work from home - Our culture is guided by diversity and inclusion, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities - We are committed to mitigating our impact on the environment and enabling and delivering equitable care that addresses health disparities and improves health outcomes **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
