Position Overview: Concordant LLC is seeking a Senior Contracts Support Specialist (SCS) to provide comprehensive acquisition and contract support for federal government programs. This role supports complex pre- and post-award acquisition activities across all contract types and dollar values. Position is fully remote. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and support complex federal acquisition activities from pre-award through post-award • Provide technical direction and guidance to junior acquisition personnel • Develop and review solicitation and procurement packages in compliance with FAR, VAAR, and agency policies • Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance requirements and acquisition strategies • Refine and improve source selection evaluation criteria • Analyze complex contracting issues and recommend alternative solutions • Support contract administration, modifications, and closeout activities • Conduct gap analyses and analyze cost elements related to service or healthcare resources • Prepare procurement packages for government review and approval Minimum Requirements: • U.S. citizenship required • Minimum of five (5) years of recent federal acquisition support experience within the last seven (7) years • Demonstrated experience supporting contracts exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) • Bachelor’s degree in any field • OR 24 semester hours in business-related disciplines (accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, management, etc.) • FAC-C Level I, II, III, FAC-C Professional, DAWIA Level III, or equivalent contracting certification OR coursework toward certification or equivalent commercial training Required Skills: • Ability to lead and mentor lower-level acquisition staff • Excellent writing, communication, and time management skills • Ability to collaborate with multiple customers and stakeholders • Ability to analyze difficult contracting issues and identify alternative courses of action • Ability to conduct gap analyses and assess cost elements • Ability to prepare advisory and procurement support documentation in compliance with VA and federal policies Preferred Experience: • Construction / Architect-Engineering (AE) contracting • Complex services or healthcare contracting • Supply-type contracting Additional Information: • Fully remote position • Offer contingent upon contract award and government resume approval Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour Application Question(s): • What is your current mailing address? • Do you have any contract experience with A&E, construction, healthcare, or logistics? • Are you comfortable working in a remote setting?
