We are currently seeking a Senior Associate in Metadata Insights to be part of our Digital Nexus Technology organization. Responsibilities: • Develop strong working relationships by regularly engaging with the business and technology teams. • Monitor scheduled job results, conduct root cause analyses, and communicate actionable recommendations to ensure issues are resolved. • Create and maintain Python and SQL scripts for the administration and updates of our metadata repository. • Oversee change control requests using Jira, managing the process flow effectively across all work units. • Uphold integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to foster a respectful and supportive work environment. Qualifications: • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in Data Governance or Metadata programs and managing a Data Catalog. • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred. • Proficiency in SQL is essential, along with solid data analysis skills and experience with relational databases; familiarity with SQL Server and Databricks is advantageous. • Knowledge of the Collibra platform, including metadata ingestion, data lineage ingestion, and Business Glossary, is preferred; experience with Python scripting and ETL processing is also beneficial. • Ability to mentor and influence colleagues positively; adaptable in the face of change and innovative in conceptual execution; strong critical thinking and attention to detail; an interest in generative AI applications is a plus. • Excellent communication and writing skills with significant experience in client-facing roles; adept problem solving, analytical abilities, and decision-making skills, with a focus on customer service and teamwork. • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.
