The Difference You Will Make As a Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance & Analytics - Technology Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be responsible for managing the costs of dozens of software tools and vendors used across Airbnb's platform, as well as the direct cost of the engineering workforce. Your key responsibilities will include: Building and maintaining financial models used for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning Collaborating with engineering leadership to provide insights into technology costs and resource allocation Managing and optimizing the engineering-related operating expense (opex) budget, including costs for software vendors, headcount, and contractors Analyzing trends in vendor costs and providing recommendations for optimizing usage Supporting procurement in vendor negotiations to secure the best pricing and ensure Airbnb is protected against supplier risks Conducting financial reviews with senior leadership, presenting insights on cost efficiencies and areas of growth opportunity Working closely with data science teams to drive actionable insights from data and ensure alignment with business objectives A Typical Day at Airbnb As a Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance & Analytics - Technology Financial Planning & Analysis, your day will be filled with a mix of analysis, modeling, and stakeholder engagement.
