Your Impact as a Salesforce Technical Architect Director As a Director of Professional Services, you will serve as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert to the company's largest, most complex enterprise customers. Your primary responsibilities will include: Leading teams made up of technical architects and developers and working with executive leadership Facilitating buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels Working with cross-functional teams and managing virtual teams Managing projects and providing thought leadership Formulating and delivering action plans for high-profile strategic initiatives Developing innovative solutions to business issues Serving as a trusted advisor to clients Identifying and leading internal critical initiatives to grow the consulting practice Guiding customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that drive increased business value Working collaboratively with strong communications skills, especially in teaching complex concepts, and creative, prescriptive thinking Identifying and proactively managing risk areas and committing to seeing an issue through to complete resolution Managing customer expectations and negotiating solutions to complex problems with both customers and third-party partners Reviewing and correcting project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward Working closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with clients to architect technology solutions to meet client needs Contributing to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies, including the Salesforce Platform Facilitating workshops and collaborating with clients to design and implement solutions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 15+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience , with a strong background in application design, data, integration, and security architecture 5-7 years of experience leading and managing people , with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams Strong experience presenting to clients or other decision-makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical) Loyalty Cloud Experience and expert-level core Salesforce experience Experience with BRE (Business Rules Engine) and microservice architecture background Expert-level Salesforce integration pattern architecture design and high-volume architecture background Industry experience and executive communication skills Required Skills and Competencies We are looking for a candidate who embodies the following qualities: TRUST : Trusts the company's core values; shows integrity, transparency, and reliability Good team mate : Proficient at collaboration and working with members of a team COMMUNICATOR : Speaks and writes with clarity, brevity, and purpose; explains areas of expertise clearly and confidently to others; influences and engages C-Level with authority and confidence Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative subject area 8+ years of experience managing full-life-cycle Salesforce implementations CTA certification or in the process of getting the CTA Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) Executive Presence - being able to influence outcomes Preferred Skills and Competencies We would also like to see the following qualities in our ideal candidate: LEADERSHIP : Self-aware; proficient at building strong relationships Inspiring leader : Strong point of view and executive presence.
